Is it still considered a mom’s world?
Roughly a year ago, I participated in an interview for a parenting story at Scholastic News- yep, the book giant that has made a tremendous impact in the world of schools & education. Scholastic finally launched their much anticipated parenting website last week, and this article was published: It’s a Mom’s World: Find valuable parenting resources especially for stay-at-home dads by Howard J. As you might expect, I was happy to share my thoughts on the topic of “mom’s world” in the hopes that the current “mom-centric” society would tilt a little more toward including both parents…
I realize the article touches on a few interesting topics, but is far from groundbreaking. Consequently, I feel that much has changed in the past year for dads – numerous articles, a blog explosion, more web based resources, more books, an increase in dad communities sprouting up across U.S. Is it just me, or…Do you see more resources for fathers lately? Are things slowly shifting?
