International Babywearing Week was October 4th- 10th, 2015. To celebrate the importance of bonding through increased human contact and touch, BabyBjorn sponsored 15 of our City Dads Groups so that we could all venture around our beautiful cities with our babies on board.

Some of our groups across the nation went on hikes, visited iconic locations, and enjoyed children’s museums. In Chicago, we decided to take the opportunity given to us by BabyBjorn to explore Lincoln Park Zoo.

I, for one, have not been there in over a decade. I was amazed by the renovations and with how kid-friendly the entire zoo has become. We had ten dads with their kids all decked out in their brand new BabyBjorn We carriers. A great time was had by all, and we have already had a second meetup back at the zoo.

Here is a look at some of the moments from our day celebrating International Babywearing Week at Lincoln Park Zoo.
